New York, NY — The New York Alternative Investment Roundtable (NYALT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Nora Richardson to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Ms. Richardson is the Vice President of Membership & Investor Services at the Managed Funds Association (MFA), a leading trade association representing the global alternative asset management industry. At MFA, Nora is responsible for engaging with fund managers and service providers across the globe, while also playing a key role in driving business development and strengthening member value.
“I’m honored to join a board that is driving meaningful impact for alternative asset managers,” said Richardson. “I look forward to helping advance its missions of education, fostering deeper relationships across firms, and promoting industry best practices.”
With more than 15 years of industry experience, Nora brings a wealth of knowledge in equity, multi-strategy, and quantitative hedge funds, having supported firms at all stages—from emerging managers to institutional platforms. Prior to joining MFA, she was a Director at Bank of America Securities in Prime Financing Consulting. She also held positions within Prime Financing in both the U.S. and London offices of Bank of America.
“Nora Richardson’s many years of experience advising fund managers build successful businesses coupled with her more recent experience with the alternative investment industry’s largest trade association will add depth and perspective to the Roundtable’s Board of Directors,” said Tim Selby, Chairman of the Board for the New York Alternative Investment Roundtable. Selby added, “We could not be more excited to add someone of Nora’s caliber to our Board and look forward to her contributing to our mission of promoting industry best practices and enhancing educational awareness about the alternative investment industry.”
Nora holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Economics, graduating with honors from Fairfield University.
